St. Patrick’s Day Celebration for the Dogs!

Is your neighborhood leprechaun coming to town this March 17th? Well just in case, let's prepare you for what’s come!

  1. DO NOT LET THE LEPRECHAUN DYE THE WATER BOWL GREEN!

We all remember when the local leprechaun would stop by and create chaos… that mischievous little man! I don’t know about you, but growing up our leprechaun would dye our toilet water green. While this was quite the sight to see on the morning of St. Patrick’s Day, you have to make sure that your leprechaun keeps all dye away from your four-legged friends.

2. Green Treats > Marshmallows

Hey, I know, I know, I love Lucky Charms too, but maybe let’s find a better St. Patrick's Day treat for our pups! Here is a list of some great green food options according to Pet Releaf:

  • Cucumbers

  • Zucchini

  • Broccoli

  • Green beans (my dog’s favorite :))

  • Brussel sprouts

  • Kale

  • Celery

3. Want to further celebrate the day?

Is your dog more of a toy fan rather than a veggie fan? No worries, here we have compiled a list of cute, on-themed toys for all dogs to enjoy!

However you decide to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with your luckiest of pets, we at Paws and Play wish you a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
